I still see sp many in the "MAGA faction", I like that BTW, so committed they compromise their own principles. The are on social media denounces all things C19 "vaccine" but turn a blind eye to Trumps involvement and even end up speaking against what they purport to believe in defense of him.

I see the same thing. They've chosen personality over principle, and the effects of that choice quickly ripple outward, affecting everything. They're just a mirror image of the Trump-haters in that both groups base their support of/opposition to an issue on the position taken by Donald Trump. It's why neither group cares whether the charges currently brought against him have any legitimacy. One group wants him exonerated regardless and other wants him charged regardless. It's madness.

To be clear, I don't mean to paint with too broad a brush. There are many Trump supporters who aren't part of the personality cult, they just happen to like most of what he did as POTUS. I can understand that though I don't see things the same way, particularly in light of his forfeiture of power during the COVID outbreak.

Excellent as usual. I find that I am not longer the patriot that I once was as I have dug deep into to research and seen the tentacles of the evil and corruption our country is and has been involved in here and around the world for ages. I'm patriotic to the ideals and principles, but have found them to be a facade.

I hear you there. I cut the following from the article because it's a topic that should be addressed separately, but rest assured that you're hardly alone:

The inherent danger of joining principle to patriotism, however, is the danger of joining principle to anything — at some point, you’ll have to choose between the two. Popular author and talk show host Steve Deace often expresses this choice by saying that he’s not out to save America anymore, he’s out to defeat it. By this he means that the America of today, having abandoned its principles, is no longer worthy of the love he has for the America of 1776.
