It's the Most Horrible Time of the Year

A singer I am not. Nor a lyricist for that matter. I’m also not a unicyclist, but that doesn’t really come into play here.

Click the play button on the image above to potentially enjoy a little ditty I threw together in dishonor of the abomination known as Pride Month. The lyrics are below if you’d prefer to read them instead of being subjected to my attempt at singing.

Thanks to my brother, Dan, for getting me past a serious case of writer’s block.

It's the most horrible time of the year
When company logos
Get slathered in rainbows
You know that it's here
It's the most horrible time of the year

It's the vile, vilest season of all
When public parades
Feature sex escapades
We're in moral free fall
It's the vile, vilest season of all

When treasonous presidents
Profane their residence
With flags of deviancy
Revealing their hatred
Of what was held sacred
By those who fought for liberty

It's the most demonic time of the year
All the perverts come out of the woodwork
And shout that they’ll make your kids queer
It's the most demonic time of the year

When immoral appetites
Are labeled "civil rights"
And given government teeth
The unholy mission's
To persecute Christians
And criminalize their beliefs

It's the most horrible time of the year
When evil is central and not incidental
Our conscience is seared
It's the most horrible time
Most abominable time
It's the most horrible time of the year
